Improvisation as Art Form and Transformative Practice
Nina Wise is a performance artist, playwright and educator. She has been described by a NY Times columnist as a metaphysical vaudevillian for the new millenium. Her work is moving, intelligent and funny and her scripted pieces have been awarded seven Bay Area Critics Circle Awards. She teaches workshops in performance and improvisation as well as classes in contemplative practice and self expression for those with life changing illness and caregivers. She is affiliated with Esalen Institute and Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
