What is your primary product or service?
A Hire Source Home Care provides private duty, non-medical, in home care for seniors to help with activities of daily living -- meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, laundry, transportation, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We had been working in the employment field for many years when our own parents needed help in the home. They are all out of the area and it was challenging to find excellent care for them. As time went on we realized how vital their caregivers were to our parents health and happiness. We are very grateful for the care they have received and it is our goal to help seniors in this area receive excellent care.

2. Care - A Hire Source Homecare only hires caregivers who are trained and have at least one year of experience in providing professional home care. Most of our caregivers are Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aids (CHHAs). In addition, we offer a training program to augment and refresh our caregivers’ skills.
3. Quality – It is our goal to have the highest quality personal attendants available. We recruit caregivers who can show that they are responsible, dependable, caring, careful, thorough, have excellent communication skills, solid work experience and strong knowledge in the field. We also recruit caregivers with specialized skills such as transferring, working with specific equipment and experience caring for individuals with diseases such as dementia, COPD, heart failure and diabetes.

5. Communication – Communication is the core of A Hire Source Homecare’s approach. We believe that you should never feel there is a lack of control or communication with your personal attendant. For this reason, you are assigned a case manager who is always available. Our case managers are Certified Senior Care Managers who have completed specialized coursework in homecare management.
