How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I purchased the boat lettering shack next to the WWII shipways on the Sausalito waterfront in 2000. With a background in graphic design, illustration and marketing communications, the sign business was a natural fit.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I'm the only sign shop in town and I specialize in nautical signage.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just one location.

From 101 exit at the Sausalito Marin City exit and go south on Bridgeway. Make a left on Harbor Drive. Make a right on Road 3. (Before Gate 5 Rd.) Go to the end of Road 3 and into the Sausalito Shipyard. Follow the gravel road all the way to the end you will see my sign - Valhalla Signworks. I am waterside behind the fence. Look for the little building with the Swiss flag waving over head. Also, I have directions and map on my website under the facts section.
